Sai Aditya Koorapati

                                         President

Hello everyone! My name is Sai Aditya Koorapati, and I serve as the President of the Youth Emergency Preparedness Council. I am a Freshman at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, California and also lead the school’s YEPC chapter. I believe YEPC is an extremely important initiative to highlight the different emergencies we have in our demographic, and prepare the youth to know what to do in any emergency they might face in the future. Apart from YEPC, a few other activities I enjoy participating in are; organizing and leading various Boy Scouts events with my Troop, competing in competitive debate tournaments while also teaching debate skills to younger students in the city, playing golf, and playing video games with my friends.

Hi everyone! I’m Riya Toro, and I’m honored to serve as the Vice President of the Youth Emergency Preparedness Council. I’m a sophomore at Washington High School in Fremont, California, where I lead the YEPC chapter. At YEPC, I work to spread awareness about emergency preparedness, organize community initiatives, and empower youth with the knowledge they need to stay safe in critical situations. Whether it’s coordinating events, leading discussions, or engaging with the community, I’m passionate about making preparedness accessible and impactful. Beyond YEPC, I immerse myself in the arts and advocacy – I practice classical dance, sing, and play multiple instruments, and I’ve also published poetry books. Mental health awareness is another cause close to my heart, and I actively advocate for it through podcasts and newspaper interviews. My goal is to use creativity and leadership to drive meaningful change, and I’m excited to continue making a difference through YEPC!
